Today, Maserati issued a press release announcing the North American Debut of an exciting new addition to its lineup of premium vehicles. Scheduled to be shown at the New York Auto Show at the end of the month, the Maserati Levante is the first SUV in the brand's history.
The Levante's refined exterior aesthetic highlights Maserati's distinctive Italian design language, and features new, tapered headlights, large, frameless windows, trapezoidal C-pillar, and Maserati's iconic air vents. With a tapered back window and streamlined shape, the Levante is reminiscent of a high-performance sports car.
The Levante will be available in three different models with different powertrains: the 350-horsepower Levante, the 430-horsepower Levante S, and the 275-horspower Levante Diesel. The rugged chassis is designed to deliver outstanding performance both on and off-road. Every Levante will feature adaptable air suspension, four-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-new Maserati Levante is expected to go on sale later this year with a starting MSRP of $72,000.
