One of the most impressive elements of the Aston Martin brand is its long history of excellence. Aston Martin saluted this history on June 1st, when a group of race cars returned to the Hotel de France in the town of La Chartre-sur-le-Loir.
The Hotel De France was a sort of home base for Aston Martin race cars throughout the mid-1950's to the mid-1960's, when drivers were preparing for the famous Le Mans 24-hour race. On June 1st, after some testing at the Le Mans circuit and before heading back to Le Mans to prepare for the race on June 13 and 14, several drivers stopped at the Hotel de France to recreate some photographs and repeat some history.
